Adapted from a popular Japanese comic book of the same title, Dance Subaru! is a motivating tale about the self-realization of a young ballerina under adversity. Subaru tells the story of genius ballerina Subaru Miyamoto with a special emphasis placed on the harsh training she undergoes and the immense social and psychological pressure she experiences. Subaru overcomes these issues to give a performance that leaves her audience crying for more.

Dance, Subaru! is an Asia, Pan-Asian (Hong Kong-Japan-Korea and Singapore) production, Ballet and the legendary Swan Lake being one of the key features. If you're thinking Ballet and Swan Lake are not attracting you, Dance, Subaru! is more than just a dance movie. It shows the character Subaru (Meisa Kuroki) pursue her dream and talents for dance.

What I am touched in the film is the life lessons shows in this film. It's about the positive, pursue for success and to survive in the real world. One has to be flexible to learn and unlearn, and adapt when the situation calls for it. It is so real that things that happened to Subaru can also observe in our everyday life.

农历五月初五为端午节，而吃粽子是端午的一大习俗.

关于端午节的来历，相传是为了纪念屈原。此说最早出自南朝梁代吴均《续齐谐记》和北周宗懔《荆楚岁时记》的记载。据说，屈原于五月初五自投汨罗江，死后为蛟龙所困，世人哀之，每于此日投五色丝粽子于水中，以驱蛟龙。又传，屈原投汨罗江后，当地百姓闻讯马上划船捞救，一直行至洞庭湖，终不见屈原的尸体。那时，恰逢雨天，湖面上的小舟一起汇集在岸边的亭子旁。当人们得知是打捞贤臣屈大夫时，再次冒雨出动，争相划进茫茫的洞庭湖。为了寄托哀思，人们荡舟江河之上，此后才逐渐发展成为龙舟竞赛。看来，端午节吃粽子、赛龙舟与纪念屈原相关，有唐代文秀《端午》诗为证："节分端午自谁言，万古传闻为屈原。堪笑楚江空渺渺，不能洗得直臣冤。" (百度百科)

I totally forget about it until Kriston reminded me saying that today is dumpling festival. I tried to walkaround the neighborhood food stores and shops but II could not get any dumpling. It isn't a very big deal but I am just thinking that this one of the chinese festival that I guess we should remember and to impart on to the next generation.

Come to think about it, i have not be best man before. But this shiyo make this last minute call to ask me to become his best man. I feel excited but yet worried. I have all my transportation arranged and paid. So, I won't be attending his bride's side dinner because my flight won't allow me to catch it.

If u ask me the experience watching movie at signature gsc, i guess i will say it value for money. It provide more leg space and more privacy. The seats come with mini table that allow you to put your corns and fries there.

 

 

The seating is exactly like a cinema which full of couple seats without ordinary cinema seats arrangement. However, if you are watching movie alone, perhaps you would be prepare to have strangers sit next to you, I will have kind of weird feeling when sitting with someone you dont know at couple seats.
